Salman Khan has voiced support for students protesting against paper leaks and demanding reforms in India’s education system. The Bollywood star urged authorities to address the issue while keeping the movement free from political influence.

Sharing a childhood photograph of himself in a school uniform, Salman said he was saddened that a peaceful protest had turned violent. He also expressed sympathy for the injured students and their families.

“It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt,” he wrote.

Salman calls paper leaks a serious issue

Salman described paper leaks as a “very serious issue” and praised students for standing together to demand meaningful reforms. He also commended parents for supporting their children’s campaign.

The actor said the students had shown dedication, sincerity and a strong commitment to building a better future through education.

Urges government to act

Furthermore, Salman appealed to the government to use the protests as an opportunity to improve the education system. He described the situation as a “win-win” opportunity and expressed hope for a positive outcome.

He also urged political parties not to take control of the movement. According to Salman, the campaign belongs to students and they alone deserve credit for raising the issue.

Calls for education to become India’s priority

Concluding his message, Salman said education should become the country’s next major priority and trend. He added that India should aim to establish itself as a global education hub.

His statement comes as several leading celebrities continue to face criticism for remaining silent on the ongoing student protests. While Salman has now expressed his support, many other prominent figures have yet to respond.
