Pakistan has made fresh progress on the revival and expansion of Pakistan Steel Mills after finalizing a third protocol with a Russian private company.

Sources within the Ministry of Industries and Production stated that the Russian company will assist in a phased revival of the steel mills, while also helping to increase overall production capacity.

Officials further revealed that the annual production capacity is planned to be expanded to 3 million tons. The revival project is expected to significantly boost industrial activity in the country.

Under the agreement, the Russian firm will provide both technical expertise and financial support for the Pakistan Steel Mills project. This will help restore and modernize one of the country’s largest industrial complexes.
