A special white coat ceremony was organized at a private medical university in the city to welcome incoming doctors, attended by the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi. Dr. Amir Chishti, Chairman Liaquat College, warmly received the Consul General upon his arrival. Addressing the gathering, Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq emphasized the significant responsibility that comes with the medical profession, stressing the importance of honesty and hard work. He highlighted the crucial role of the new generation of doctors in advancing the country’s progress, noting their diligent efforts to shine Pakistan’s name on the global stage.
Dr. Bakheet Ateeq further praised the initiative of UAE Pakistan in launching robust health and educational programs in the country. He also personally bestowed white coats upon the incoming students during the ceremony. Among the attendees, university officials and Vice-Chancellors extended their gratitude to the Consul General for his personal contributions and unwavering support to Pakistan in every challenging moment.
