Ramadan Relief Drive: Team Karachi Welfare Society Distributes Over 8,000 Ration Bags

Nabeel Jamal

Karachi: Team Karachi Welfare Society International has completed the fourth phase of its Grand Ramadan Ration Distribution Drive in Karachi, providing food support to thousands of underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to organizers, the initiative has so far distributed more than 8,000 ration bags across different areas of the city, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s ongoing humanitarian campaign.

Progress Toward 15,000 Ration Bag Target

The welfare organisation said the campaign aims to distribute 15,000 ration bags throughout Ramadan to help low-income families meet their basic food needs during the fasting month.

Each ration package typically contains essential food items intended to support families for a substantial part of the month.

Officials involved in the campaign said the distribution is being carried out in phases to ensure that aid reaches deserving households in different communities across Karachi.

Supporting Vulnerable Communities

Volunteers and members of the organisation participated in the latest phase of the drive, coordinating logistics and ensuring transparent distribution among eligible families.

Organisers said the initiative reflects the spirit of Ramadan, which encourages charity, compassion and support for those facing economic hardship.

Community Engagement and Philanthropy

Representatives of Team Karachi Welfare Society International emphasised that the programme is part of the organisation’s broader mission to support vulnerable communities through social welfare initiatives, particularly during significant occasions such as Ramadan.

They also acknowledged the contributions of donors, volunteers and community members whose support made the distribution campaign possible.

Continuing the Ramadan Relief Effort

With the completion of the fourth phase, the organisation plans to continue its distribution activities in the coming days to reach its target of 15,000 ration bags before the end of Ramadan.
