Pakistan’s Economy Holds Strong Growth Potential Despite Challenges, Raza Waqar

Karachi: Prominent businessman Raza Waqar has said that Pakistan’s economy possesses strong growth potential despite the challenges it currently faces, stressing that the business community can play a key role in strengthening the country’s economic future.

He made these remarks while hosting a Suhoor dinner with his wife for members of the business community during the holy month of Ramadan in Karachi.

Call for Innovation and Investment

Addressing participants at the gathering, Waqar said the private sector has the capacity to contribute significantly to national economic growth through innovation, investment and collective efforts.

He emphasised that positive thinking and stronger collaboration between business leaders and institutions can help create sustainable economic opportunities in Pakistan.

Waqar also noted that the spirit of Ramadan encourages reflection, empathy and unity, adding that gatherings such as Suhoor dinners provide a platform for strengthening relationships within the business community.

Government and Business Leaders Attend

The event was attended by several prominent personalities from government, bureaucracy and business circles. Among them were Arslan Islam, Brigadier Umer Farooq of the Anti Narcotics Force, Sadaqat Shah, Shahid Mahisar, Qasim Raza of the Pakistan Navy, and Aftab Imam.

Also present was Sana Aqeel, chairperson of MKP Group, along with other distinguished guests.

Strengthening Business and Community Ties

Participants engaged in discussions, exchanged business ideas and shared experiences, using the occasion to strengthen professional and personal connections.
