President Zardari Stresses Stronger Ties with Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has called for further strengthening Pakistan’s bilateral cooperation with Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany in diverse sectors, particularly trade, economy, and culture.
The President made these remarks while receiving the diplomatic credentials of the High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka and the Ambassadors-designate of Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany during a formal ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.

On their arrival, the diplomats were accorded a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
President Zardari congratulated the new envoys on their appointments and expressed confidence that their tenure would help deepen bilateral ties and broaden cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing engagement with regional and European partners, underlining the importance of diplomatic, cultural, and economic exchanges.
