President Zardari Reaffirms Pak-Saudi Cooperation at KSA National Day
President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s
commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation
with the KSA across various sectors

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stronger ties with Saudi Arabia. He highlighted cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, defence, culture, and education. He also stressed the importance of increasing people-to-people contacts.
President Zardari spoke at the National Day Reception of KSA. The Saudi Embassy in Islamabad hosted the event to celebrate the Kingdom’s 94th National Day. Many federal ministers, diplomats, and officials attended the event.
The President congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He praised the strong bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He also noted how both countries support each other in tough times.
President Zardari praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s leadership. He recognized the progress Saudi Arabia has made under his guidance. He also expressed hope that these efforts would lead to even more growth and success for the Kingdom.
The President thanked Saudi Arabia for its continuous support to Pakistan. He also appreciated the Kingdom for hosting nearly 2.7 million Pakistanis. These workers contribute to the social and economic development of Saudi Arabia.
President Zardari expressed confidence that the ties between the two nations will grow stronger in the future. He stressed the need for both countries to work together for their progress, the unity of the Muslim community, and peace in the region.
