Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar as the Acting Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) during a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.
The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. Senior government officials, judges, and legal dignitaries attended the ceremony.
According to an official notification, Justice Sarfraz Dogar has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of IHC, effective from the day he takes the oath, until the appointment of a regular chief justice.
