Karachi: In a move reflecting the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to social welfare and sustainable development, MPA Roma Mushtaq Matto, Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs, distributed solar panel sets among deserving households in Malir under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

The initiative, undertaken in line with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision, aims to provide affordable and renewable energy solutions to low-income families, improving living standards and easing the financial burden of electricity costs.

During the distribution ceremony, Mushtaq Matto, President of the PPP Karachi Division Minority Wing, was recognized for his contributions to the programme. His efforts were lauded as a reflection of the party’s enduring philosophy of “politics as public service.”

Speaking at the event, MPA Roma Mushtaq Matto reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusive growth and community empowerment.

“Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari envisions a Pakistan where every class, every community, and every individual is empowered and prosperous,” she said. “The PPP does not treat its promises as mere slogans — we fulfill them with sincerity. We will continue our journey of public service so that light reaches every home and hope awakens in every heart.”

The Pakistan Peoples Party reiterated its dedication to promoting renewable energy access, social equity, and economic empowerment across Pakistan, maintaining that it “fulfills every promise it makes.”
