Dubai: Pakistan’s Minister of State for Finance and Railways and Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU), Bilal Azhar Kayani, held talks with Abdulla Nasser Lootah, the UAE’s Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange, in Dubai on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on reviewing progress under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Mutual Government Experience Exchange, signed between the two countries on June 16, 2025.
Kayani thanked the UAE government for its continued support and cooperation under the agreement. Both sides discussed knowledge exchange sessions held so far — in-person in the UAE as well as virtually — and assessed achievements made since the signing of the MoU.
The discussions also covered the action plan for future collaboration across multiple sectors of governance. Officials from both countries reaffirmed their commitment to institutional reform, enhanced service delivery, and modernized governance, agreeing to maintain close coordination for effective implementation of the MoU.
