Karachi: The Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2025, the country’s largest international travel and tourism expo, was inaugurated today at the Expo Centre, Karachi. Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah was the chief guest, alongside Gholam Hussain Mozaffari, Governor of Khorasan Razavi, Iran.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Zulfiqar Ali Shah emphasized Pakistan’s immense tourism potential, stating that Sindh’s government, under Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is committed to promoting tourism and protecting the province’s cultural heritage. He toured various booths, engaging with exhibitors showcasing travel and tourism services.

Pakistan Travel Mart is the country’s largest travel and tourism event, connecting regional and global stakeholders with a focus on inbound, outbound, and domestic tourism. Since its inception, PTM has played a crucial role in reshaping Pakistan’s tourism industry by fostering networking, business partnerships, and investment opportunities.

This year’s Pakistan Travel Mart 2025 hosts over 400 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE (Dubai, Ajman), Iran, Turkey, Greece, the UK, Japan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Bahrain, Qatar, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, and China.
