Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has announced a reduction in petroleum product prices for the fourth consecutive time. According to sources from the Prime Minister’s Office, the new prices reflect significant cuts in both petrol and diesel rates.

  • Petrol Price Reduced: The price of petrol has been lowered by PKR 10, bringing it to PKR 249 per liter.
  • Diesel Price Reduced: Diesel prices have been reduced by PKR 13.06, now costing PKR 249.69 per liter.

Price Trends Over the Past Two Months

  • Petrol: The price of petrol has decreased by PKR 26.50 over the last two months.
  • Diesel: Diesel prices have dropped by PKR 33.94 during the same period.

This latest reduction continues the trend of decreasing fuel costs, aimed at easing the financial burden on consumers amid fluctuating global oil prices.
