Pakistan elected to field first after winning the toss against England in a crucial ODI tri-series match at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
Pakistan made two changes to their playing XI, bringing in Shadab Khan for Faheem Ashraf, while fast bowler Razaullah was handed his ODI debut in place of Naseem Shah, who suffered a dislocated finger on his left hand.
Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said Naseem was expected to recover in time for Pakistan’s next match against Sri Lanka.
England made one change, with fast bowler Henry Crocombe replacing Josh Tongue. Crocombe was also set to make his international debut.
Pakistan have won their first two matches and need just one more victory to secure a place in the final. They began the tournament with a 37-run win over Sri Lanka before defeating England by 87 runs in their second outing.
England, meanwhile, have lost both their matches and face a must-win situation to keep their hopes of reaching the final alive.
