Dubai: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a vibrant flag-hoisting ceremony, attended by a large gathering of the Pakistani community. The event was infused with national pride, unity, and cultural performances.
Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out, underscoring the nation’s progress and unwavering resolve. Consul General H.E. Hussain Muhammad warmly welcomed the attendees, extending heartfelt congratulations on the historic occasion.
In his address, he paid tribute to Pakistan’s resilience in the face of recent external aggression, citing the successes in Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos as proud chapters in the country’s history. He described these operations as demonstrations of Pakistan’s professional excellence and steadfast national spirit.
The Consul General urged the Pakistani diaspora to continue contributing to the progress of both the UAE and Pakistan, praising their role in strengthening bilateral ties. He also expressed gratitude to the UAE government for supporting the grand Independence Day celebrations organized by Emirates Loves Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistan Association Dubai at Expo City Dubai on August 10, 2025.
The ceremony featured spirited national songs by students of the Pakistan Education Academy Dubai and a lively quiz competition, adding a festive touch to the day’s celebrations.
