Pak – Iran has historically relations since Independence. Nasir Shah,

Senior Minister of Sindh for Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, said that Pakistan and Iran, has brotherly relations and Iran was the first Country who recognised Pakistan after the Independence, he was talking with media after concluding an event on the 3rd conference of “Picturesque on Iran” at a local hotel. On the occasion Chairman TDAP Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, Mr. Hassan Nourian, Consul General of Iran and others also spoke. Minister said that Pakistan and Iran has rich of Culture, Religious and Health Tourism both Countries can get benefits from each others he Congratulate Consul General of Iran to organised a successful Conference. Mr. Hassan Nourian, Consul General in his speech said that Iran and Pakistan, as the two neighboring countries, hold many aspects in common and enjoy a high level of diplomatic ties, rich historical and cultural similarities and many other commonalities which can be utilized for deepening the mutual ties.

Iranian envoy said In regard to the enhancement of tourism industry, it’s not out of place to mention that while there was only one official land border between the two countries for more than seventy years which was located in Taftan- Mirjava, now with the efforts of the authorities of the two countries, two more land borders in Rimdan and Phishin have been inaugurated few years ago and as a result, Iran and Pakistan commonly initiated to facilitate the passage of our peoples by crossing the land borders.
He said In light of the ease of travel to Iran, the Iranian government has also launched a completely electronic and paper less visa a few years ago and decided to ignore the entry and exit stamps in the travelers’ passports.
Moreover , in order to ease of travelling to Pakistan & Iran, currently three Iranian airlines, including Iran Air, Taban Air and Mahan Air, have established direct flights from Karachi and Lahore to the cities of Tehran and Mashhad, and I hope that we will be witnessing an increase in the number of direct flights between the two countries.

He added Furthermore, the initial studies of the sea voyage between the two sides were also carried out by the private sectors and this issue is also in the stage of attracting the investors .

For those who are interesting the historical tourism segment, it will good to know that with the world registration of 24 historical and natural monuments in the UNESCO world list, Iran ranks 9th among the 161 UNESCO member countries. In addition in the last two years, He said, Iran has registered five elements of intangible globally heritage, and seven more files have been prepared for registration at the next UNESCO meeting.

Iranian diplomat said, The experience of the tourists from different countries and in particular from Muslim countries to Iran shows that taking advantage of halal food, cheap accommodation in the hotels, remarkable and exemplary security, variety of climate positions , variety of historical, natural, cultural attractions and other advantages have made their visit an unforgettable experience for all of them.

Hassan Nourian said, Fortunately, Iran as one of the advanced countries in the region in the field of public health & medical knowledge and in terms of service quality and prices, Iran is ready to host the noble travelers of Pakistan and the people of other neighboring and regional countries.
Dr Iftikhar Salah ul deen, Author of the Book Tilted by Parsia, the land of Emperors and Kings also gave a authentic and detailed speech about rich history and Culture of Islamic Republic of iran in pre and post islamic era. Event also attended by diplomats from France, Turkiye, Russia, UAE, Malaysia, Japan and others degneyties.
