Over 2,000 Events Across Sindh Mark Independence Day and “Marka e Haq”: Sindh Energy Minister

All government departments have made

special arrangements to observe these

national occasions with full enthusiasm

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Energy, Planning, and Development, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has announced that more than 2,000 events are being held across Sindh to celebrate Independence Day and the “Battle for Truth.” These celebrations are taking place under the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Thar Coal Energy Board hosts key celebration
Minister Nasir Shah expressed these remarks while addressing an event at the office of the Thar Coal Energy Board (TCEB), where he served as the chief guest and inaugurated the ceremony by cutting a cake. The event was attended by MPA Qasim Siraj Soomro, TCEB MD Tariq Ali Shah, STDC CEO Saleem Shaikh, TCEB Director Nisar Memon, and other officials.

Energy Department leads with early celebrations
He shared that this was the second such event held by the Sindh Energy Department, making it one of the first departments to initiate the celebrations. All government departments, he added, have made special arrangements to observe these national occasions with full enthusiasm.

A proud moment for the nation
Nasir Shah said that the “Battle for Truth” and Independence Day celebrations reflect the pride and unity of the Pakistani nation. Citizens across the country are participating in these events with great patriotic fervor.

Thar Coal Board officials express enthusiasm
TCEB MD Tariq Ali Shah praised the efforts of STDC in leading the initial celebrations and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by all officers and employees. He also thanked Minister Nasir Shah for his presence. He added that the victory in the “Battle for Truth” has inspired national confidence and assured the public that Pakistan is in secure hands.
