Istanbul: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Naqvi, met today with Turkey’s National Defense Minister, Yasar Guler, during the Istanbul International SAHA Expo. Turkish Minister Yasar Guler expressed gratitude to Naqvi for his participation in the expo, highlighting the growing ties between Pakistan and Turkey.
During the meeting, Federal Minister Naqvi invited Defense Minister Guler to Pakistan’s upcoming IDEAS Expo, aiming to further strengthen collaboration between the two countries. Discussions included mutual interests, Pakistan-Turkey relations, and potential areas of increased cooperation across multiple sectors. Both ministers praised the positive momentum of bilateral relations, underscoring the importance of enhancing cooperation and trade ties.
The ministers also explored opportunities to expand Pakistan’s meat exports to Turkey, with Turkey offering its full support. Federal Minister Naqvi welcomed this offer, expressing appreciation for Turkey’s role in promoting trade collaboration with Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of bilateral visits to solidify relations and drive future partnerships.
Federal Minister Naqvi lauded Turkey’s exceptional organization of the International SAHA Expo. The meeting was attended by senior officials from Turkey, as well as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Yusuf Junaid, who represented Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Turkey.
