Karachi: Karachi Police Chief Azad Khan has revealed major developments in the high-profile narcotics case involving accused Anmol alias Pinky, stating that investigators have recovered 869 contact numbers from her mobile phone, including 132 numbers linked to Karachi.

Addressing a press conference, the Karachi Police Chief said the case is being treated as a “test case” for law enforcement, and authorities are determined to take it to its logical conclusion. He remarked that the suspect’s “brand name” in the drug trade would ultimately become her downfall.

He further stated that the investigation is not limited to Karachi, as individuals involved in purchasing and selling drugs linked to the network have already been arrested. Authorities are also identifying facilitators connected to the case. A raid conducted in the Succhal area led to the recovery of narcotics from a property reportedly used by the suspect, with officials claiming the drugs were being smuggled in from abroad.

The police chief added that financial records of the accused have been obtained, showing transactions worth around Rs. 30 million. He also disclosed that the network includes foreign individuals, including contacts linked to Africa, and that the accused had also operated in Punjab.

He confirmed coordination with FIA and cybercrime units for further digital and financial investigation. According to officials, the massive list of 869 phone contacts recovered from the suspect’s device is now being analyzed to dismantle the wider network.

Authorities emphasized that strict action will be taken against all individuals involved, calling the case a major breakthrough in dismantling organized drug trafficking networks.
