Karachi: The Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi marked the 67th Malaysia National Day with a Flag Hoisting Ceremony on August 31, 2024. The event, held at the Consulate General premises, showcased Malaysia’s spirit of unity and progress. It was attended by students, Malaysian expatriates in Karachi, and esteemed friends of Malaysia.

A Display of National Pride

The Flag Hoisting Ceremony highlighted Malaysia’s journey towards prosperity and harmony. The event began with the Malaysian national anthem, stirring patriotic emotions among the attendees. H.E. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia, along with other guests, raised the Malaysian flag, symbolizing the nation’s achievements and future aspirations.

In his address, Consul General Ahmad emphasized the significance of Malaysia National Day. He reflected on Malaysia’s rich history and accomplishments, stressing the Consulate General’s dedication to strengthening the bonds of friendship between Malaysia and Pakistan. The two countries share deep historical ties, and the ceremony underscored the importance of these connections.

The event was well-attended by Malaysian students and their families, as well as friends of Malaysia, showcasing the strong bilateral relations and people-to-people connections between Malaysia and Pakistan.
