Pakistan Stock Exchange benchmark KSE-100 index records a weekly decline.
The KSE-100 Index fell 1,325 points during the outgoing trading week, closing at 180,104 as investor activity remained strong but the market moved through a volatile range.
The benchmark index fluctuated by 2,568 points during the week. It reached a high of 182,347 points before falling to a weekly low of 179,778 points.
Despite the volatility, trading activity remained robust. Around 3.41 billion shares changed hands during the week through transactions worth Rs152 billion.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s total market capitalisation declined by Rs107 billion. It stood at Rs20.13 trillion at the end of the week.
The weekly performance reflected continued volatility in the stock market, with the benchmark index ending lower despite heavy trading volumes.
