Saudi Tourism New Flights and Experiences Strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Travel Ties

Saudi Tourism is expanding its presence in Pakistan with new flights, tourism events and travel experiences. The initiatives aim to give Pakistani travellers easier access to Saudi Arabia’s destinations, culture and heritage.

Pakistan remains one of Saudi Arabia’s priority tourism markets in the Asia-Pacific region. The growing travel options also reflect the strong ties between the two countries.

New destinations and experiences

Saudi Arabia offers a wide range of attractions for Pakistani visitors. These include the heritage sites of AlUla and Diriyah, as well as the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah.

The Red Sea also offers new luxury tourism experiences along Saudi Arabia’s western coast. The destination combines natural landscapes, distinctive architecture and high-end hospitality.

Meanwhile, Qiddiya near Riyadh is emerging as a major destination for entertainment, sports and culture. The development aims to attract families, young travellers and adventure seekers.

Saudi tourism events in Pakistan

Pakistani audiences can also explore Saudi experiences without travelling abroad. The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) is engaging travellers, media and tourism partners through events in Karachi and Lahore.

“Flavors of Saudi” in Karachi and the Lahore Roadshow – “Saudi Unlocked” will showcase Saudi cuisine, culture, heritage and destinations.

These events aim to build awareness of Saudi Arabia’s expanding tourism offering. They also provide Pakistani travellers with a closer look at the country’s diverse experiences.

More direct flights from Pakistan

Travel options between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are also expanding. Riyadh Air will begin operations in Pakistan this month.

The airline will launch direct flights from Islamabad to Riyadh on August 14, 2026. It will then start Lahore-Riyadh flights on August 18.

More options will follow in September. Flyadeal will launch its first Karachi-Madinah flight on September 6.

The new routes will give Pakistani travellers greater flexibility when planning trips to Saudi Arabia. They will also make access to key Saudi destinations more convenient.
