Karachi: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General Bakheet Atiq Ali Al-Remeithi hosted a luncheon in honor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday in Karachi.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in key areas between the two countries.
Governor Kundi thanked the UAE for supporting Pakistan’s position during Operation Bunyan Al-Marsouos, describing the operation’s success as a major achievement for the Pakistan Armed Forces.
He also acknowledged the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian and development initiatives in Pakistan, particularly in underserved regions.
The governor specifically appreciated the welfare efforts in Waziristan and called for increased support in healthcare and humanitarian services, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Dera Ismail Khan.
