OGRA increases kerosene prices while petrol and diesel become slightly cheaper.
ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.09 per litre with immediate effect under the latest weekly review of petroleum product prices.
According to an official notification, the price of kerosene has risen from Rs227.05 per litre to Rs231.14 per litre.
The latest adjustment comes as the federal government reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel by Rs1.97 per litre.
Under a separate notification issued by the Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division, the ex-depot price of petrol (motor spirit) has been cut from Rs299.50 to Rs297.53 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has also been reduced from Rs311.47 to Rs309.50 per litre.
Pakistan reviews petroleum product prices every week. The government determines the revised rates based on changes in international oil prices and fluctuations in the exchange rate.
