ABHI Bank reports record profit and strong financial growth in the first half of 2026.
ABHI Bank reported a profit after tax of PKR 1.502 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The result marks a record first-half performance for the bank.
The bank earned PKR 1.019 billion for the full year ended December 31, 2025. Therefore, its first-half 2026 profit has already surpassed its entire 2025 earnings.
Profit also rose sharply from PKR 200.2 million in the same period last year. The latest result reflects continued progress in the bank’s growth and transformation strategy.
ABHI Bank’s total assets crossed the PKR 100 billion mark during the first half of 2026. Assets reached PKR 101.55 billion by June 30.
That figure represents around 32% growth from PKR 76.80 billion at the end of 2025. Meanwhile, gross advances rose to PKR 50.07 billion from PKR 38.16 billion over the same period.
The bank attributed the stronger performance to balance sheet growth, higher earning assets and increased deposit mobilisation. Improved recoveries and tighter risk management also supported profitability.

Revenue stood at PKR 5.84 billion during the same period last year. As a result, revenue grew 80.1% year on year.
The six-month revenue also reached around 74% of the PKR 14.25 billion recorded during the entire year in 2025. This performance highlights the bank’s strong earnings momentum.
ABHI Bank continued to focus on asset quality and credit risk management during the period. At the same time, its capital position improved significantly.
Shareholders’ equity reached PKR 3.11 billion as of June 30, 2026. The bank had reported negative equity of PKR 397 million at the end of 2025.
Strong profitability helped drive the improvement. In addition, the bank recognised PKR 2.0 billion as an Advance Against Issuance of Shares.
The bank also continued investing in technology and infrastructure during the first half of the year. Its spending focused on digital capabilities, people and control functions.
These investments aim to support the bank’s expansion while strengthening operational capacity and risk controls.
ABHI Bank’s financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2026, received an unmodified audit opinion from independent auditors Baker Tilly Mehmood Idrees Qamar, Chartered Accountants.
The auditors said the statements present a true and fair view of the bank’s financial position and performance. They also confirmed compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards in Pakistan.
The statements also comply with the Companies Act, 2017, the Microfinance Institutions Ordinance, 2001, and relevant State Bank of Pakistan directives.
ABHI Bank now enters the second half of 2026 with a stronger financial base. Its assets have crossed PKR 100 billion, while deposits and lending continue to grow.
With first-half profit already exceeding the bank’s full-year 2025 result, ABHI Bank aims to maintain its growth momentum and deliver a stronger performance by the end of 2026.
