Karachi to Host World CIO Summit & Awards 2025 on August 23

Karachi: The second edition of the World CIO Summit & Awards 2025 – Pakistan Edition will take place on Saturday, August 23, at a local hotel in Karachi.
Federal Secretary IT Zarrar Hasham Khan will attend as the chief guest, while Abu Bakar, CEO of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), will grace the occasion as the guest of honor. The ceremony will recognize over 50 Chief Information Officers (CIOs) from Pakistan’s leading companies for their outstanding contributions to the country’s IT and digital ecosystem.
The event is being organized by ITCN Asia, led by Muhammad Umair Nizam with strategic guidance from Dr. Erdal Ozkaya and Syed Abdul Qadir.
Speaking about the summit, Muhammad Umair Nizam, Vice President Ecommerce Gateway Pvt Limited and Project Director ITCN Asia, said the initiative carries a clear mission: to honor Pakistan’s most influential digital leaders, inspire the innovators of tomorrow, and strengthen Pakistan’s presence on the global technology map.
Syed Abdul Qadir, Co-Organizer of the event, highlighted that the summit builds on the success of last year’s edition, which brought together over 600 professionals. This year, nearly 800 professionals are expected to participate under the theme “Dawn of a New Decade.”
