Islamabad: Jazz, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DeafTawk, a global leader in accessible communication solutions, to promote inclusivity and enhance accessibility for the deaf community. This collaboration highlights Jazz’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive society through innovative solutions and transformative programs.

Empowering the Deaf Community

The partnership focuses on empowering individuals with hearing impairments by integrating the DeafTawk Plus app into Jazz’s customer care centers nationwide. This app enables deaf customers to access real-time sign language interpretation services. Through a tablet or device, customers are connected to qualified interpreters, ensuring seamless communication without intermediaries.

This initiative aims to enhance the customer experience for the deaf community, making Jazz’s services more accessible and inclusive.

Kazim Mujtaba, President Consumer Division at Jazz, emphasized the importance of inclusivity, stating:

DeafTawk, a participant in the Jazz xlr8 premium accelerator program at the National Incubation Center (NIC), has been instrumental in developing innovative online sign language services. These services bridge communication gaps between the deaf community and the broader society through cutting-edge technology.
