Karachi: The Consul of Italy in Karachi, Fabrizio Bielli, hosted a special networking event to connect with key reporters, editors, and media representatives, acknowledging the media fraternity’s vital role in society. Strengthening Media Ties and Bilateral Relations
Speaking at the gathering, Consul Bielli praised the efforts of the media in bridging cultures and enhancing international understanding. He highlighted their contributions to promoting Italy’s image and underscored the importance of journalistic integrity in building lasting bilateral relationships.
Focus on Economic Cooperation and Trade Growth
During discussions with guests, the Consul outlined the Italian Consulate’s initiatives under his tenure, particularly in promoting Italy-Pakistan relations in Sindh and Balochistan. He reiterated Italy’s commitment to boosting economic, trade, and investment ties with Pakistan, aiming to double bilateral trade to at least $3 billion in the coming years.

Consul Bielli noted Italy’s leadership in producing world-class textile machinery and advanced medical equipment, such as neonatal incubators. He emphasized Italy’s readiness to support Pakistan’s growing healthcare and industrial needs.
