Islamabad Marriott Hotel Unveils The Lilly – A Premier Chinese Dining Experience

Islamabad: The Islamabad Marriott Hotel has officially launched its newest culinary venture, The Lilly, an upscale Chinese restaurant designed to offer a refined and authentic dining experience in the heart of the capital.

The launch event, held on August 26, was a sophisticated affair attended by diplomats, corporate leaders, and distinguished guests. Among the honored attendees were:

  • Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan & Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, and Mrs. Movlamov
  • Mohamed Karmoune, Ambassador of Morocco
  • Wolfgang Oliver, Ambassador of Austria
  • Akamatsu Shuichi and Mrs. Akamatsu, Ambassador of Japan
  • Rongvudhi Virabutr and Ms. Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand

Key representatives of Marriott International and Hashwani Hotels Limited (HHL) also graced the occasion, including Mr. Marcel Stittner, General Manager Islamabad Marriott Hotel, Mr. Kamran Ahmed, CEO HHL, and Mr. Benno Hurni-Gosman, Senior Manager – Operations Performance Support, EMEA, Marriott Hotels International Limited.

In his remarks, Mr. Marcel Stittner shared his vision for the new venture:

  • “The Lilly is not just a restaurant—it is a celebration of authentic Chinese flavors, culture, and artistry. With this addition, we are proud to elevate our guests’ dining experiences while continuing to introduce trailblazing culinary concepts to the capital.”

With an artfully curated menu, elegant interiors, and a strong commitment to culinary excellence, The Lilly sets a new benchmark in Pakistan’s fine dining landscape. The opening reaffirms Islamabad Marriott Hotel’s reputation as a pioneer in luxury hospitality and innovative gastronomy.
