Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday to express his heartfelt condolences over the loss of innocent lives in recent Israeli aggression against Iran.
The prime minister extended Pakistan’s deepest sympathies and solidarity with the people and Government of Iran during this difficult time. He paid rich tribute to the resilience and courage of the Iranian nation and offered prayers for the martyrs and speedy recovery of the injured.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, SAPM Tariq Fatemi, and the Foreign Secretary. The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, along with senior embassy officials, received the delegation.
Signing the condolence book, the prime minister conveyed Pakistan’s continued support to Iran and shared warm regards and good wishes for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei and newly elected President Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian.
