Karachi: inDrive, the global ride-hailing and urban services platform, has announced a temporary commission waiver for all rides in Karachi from November 1 to December 31, 2025, allowing drivers to retain their full earnings.
The move is part of inDrive’s people-first strategy, aimed at empowering local drivers and strengthening community trust in its peer-to-peer pricing model, which lets passengers and drivers negotiate fares directly.
“Karachi’s drivers are the backbone of our platform, and their resilience inspires us every day,” said Awais Saeed, Country Manager of inDrive Pakistan. “Our goal has always been to ensure those who keep Karachi moving feel valued and supported. This initiative is our way of giving back to the community that drives us.”
Industry observers see the waiver as a competitive step in Karachi’s expanding ride-hailing market, where fare flexibility and driver retention have become key differentiators.
By removing commissions for two months, inDrive aims to reinforce its reputation as a platform prioritizing fairness and economic inclusion across Pakistan’s urban mobility landscape.
