Huawei Qingyun H3550 enterprise smartwatch with health tracking and corporate customisation features

Huawei Smartwatch: Qingyun H3550 targets workplace health and enterprise wellness

Huawei Smartwatch technology has expanded into the enterprise sector with the launch of the Qingyun H3550, a business-focused wearable designed to help organisations manage employee wellness, health monitoring and digital workforce programmes.

Huawei is positioning the Qingyun H3550 for corporate and institutional users rather than the traditional consumer smartwatch market. The device combines health-tracking capabilities with enterprise tools, including custom branding, software integration and cloud-based connectivity.

The smartwatch features a rounded rectangular aluminium body measuring 42.9 x 38.2 x 9.5mm and weighs approximately 27 grams without the strap. It carries a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming and other shallow-water activities.

The device is equipped with a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels and a pixel density of 347 PPI. Huawei says the screen can reach a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, improving visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

For health monitoring, the smartwatch includes an upgraded PPG sensor featuring six LEDs and six photodiodes. The system supports continuous heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and heart-rate variability analysis to provide more detailed health insights.

The Qingyun H3550 also integrates Huawei’s TruSleep 5 technology for advanced sleep analysis. Additional wellness features include emotional health tracking and a panda-themed guided fitness assistant that offers short exercise routines targeting different parts of the body.

Built-in GPS allows users to track activities without carrying a smartphone, while NFC functionality supports contactless services such as payments and digital access credentials.

A key focus of the device is enterprise integration. Organisations can customise packaging, startup logos, watch faces, strap colours and other branding elements. The smartwatch also supports software development kits (SDKs), cloud integration and access to device-level data, enabling businesses to connect it with workforce management and health-monitoring platforms.

Huawei says the smartwatch can support corporate wellness initiatives, employee health assessments, early risk identification and rehabilitation programmes beyond traditional clinical settings.

The company claims the Qingyun H3550 delivers up to 10 days of battery life under light usage and around seven days during typical use. Battery life decreases to approximately four days when the always-on display feature is enabled.

Huawei has not yet announced pricing details or wider retail availability, as the smartwatch is primarily intended for enterprise and corporate customers.
