Karachi: Hisaar Foundation held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, attended by board members, council members, and staff. The governors’ report highlighted the Foundation’s significant achievements over the past year.

Key Achievements

The Foundation exceeded its project and fundraising targets, implementing innovative hand-operated ultrafiltration systems in remote areas. It also successfully hosted the 6th Karachi International Water Conference and conceptualized the National Water Panel, set to launch globally in November 2024. The Adopt a School program gained momentum, while the Community Ponds initiative was embraced by the Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC) through the Living Indus initiative.

Panjwani-Hisaar Water Institute

A major highlight of the year was the completion of the Panjwani-Hisaar Water Institute’s grey structure. Despite facing inflation and soaring costs, the Institute has commenced Master’s courses, reinforcing Hisaar Foundation’s role as a leader in the water sector.
