Karachi: Halqa-e-Fikr o Nazar’s newly elected office-bearers took oath in a formal ceremony, pledging to work towards the organisation’s growth, stability, and renewed effectiveness.
During the oath-taking ceremony, participants reiterated their resolve to make the organisation more effective and dynamic through renewed structure and active engagement. Detailed discussions were held regarding the organisation’s aims and objectives, enhancing organisational activities, and planning future programmes.
Chief Guest and Chief Patron Shahid Khameesa administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers, including President Shahida Khurshid Kanwal, Vice President Professor Dr Sajida Parveen, General Secretary Dr Farhana Owais, Joint Secretary Shahid Satti, Finance Secretary Ruby Raza, Director Media Waseem Abbasi, and Social Media Coordinator Engineer Muhammad Faizan Khan. Members of the consultation body, Rani Apa, Abdul Basit, Hakeem Mustafa, Rizwana Shahid, Dur-e-Shahwar Nisar, Singer Huma Kanwal, and photographer Naeem Ahmed also took oath.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Waqar, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). On this occasion, Chief Patron Shahid Khameesa expressed hope that all members would utilise their full potential to lead the organisation towards progress, stability, and new heights of success. He emphasised that the efforts and cooperation of every member are crucial for the organisation’s future achievements.
The ceremony was seen as a positive step forward, in which the newly elected office-bearers not only assumed their responsibilities but also demonstrated their commitment to elevating the organisation’s standards and actively implementing new programmes
