Gold prices declined in Pakistan after global bullion markets weakened.
Gold and silver prices dropped in Pakistan after weaker international bullion prices pushed down domestic market rates.
Gold Prices fell in Pakistan on Monday after international bullion markets recorded fresh losses.
The international price of gold dropped by $24 per ounce to $4,150.
As a result, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan declined by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs437,436.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs2,058, bringing it down to Rs375,030.
Meanwhile, silver prices followed the same trend.
The international price of silver declined by 37 cents per ounce to $62.
Consequently, the local price of silver fell by Rs37 per tola to Rs6,679.
The price of 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs31, settling at Rs5,726.
The decline reflects the impact of weaker global bullion prices on Pakistan’s local precious metals market.
