Islamabad: Garaj, the cloud services and cybersecurity arm of Jazz, has achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v4.0.1 certification, marking a major step forward in its mission to deliver secure and compliant cloud infrastructure for enterprises across Pakistan.
The certification follows a rigorous audit and assessment by Risk Associates, Pakistan’s leading PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company. The achievement highlights Garaj’s steadfast commitment to protecting sensitive payment data, ensuring operational resilience, and maintaining customer trust.
The PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliance reinforces Garaj’s position as a trusted Cloud Service Provider (CSP) — enabling organizations, particularly in the financial and fintech sectors, to confidently host payment systems and manage critical data securely. The certification also simplifies compliance processes for clients while accelerating innovation and digital transformation across industries.
“Security and trust are the foundation of everything we build at Garaj,” said Beenish Wajih, Chief Technology Officer, Jazz Business. “Achieving PCI DSS v4.0.1 reflects our dedication to building a resilient, secure, and future-ready digital ecosystem.”
Kashif Hassan, Managing Director of Risk Associates, congratulated the Garaj team, noting,
“This milestone reflects Garaj’s strong commitment to global security standards and data protection. Such achievements are vital to advancing Pakistan’s cybersecurity landscape and fostering trust across the digital economy.”
The official certificate of compliance was presented in Islamabad to Ms. Beenish Wajih by Mr. Kashif Hassan and Mr. Hashim Mufti, PCI QSA at Risk Associates.
