foodpanda Launches Summer Relief Initiatives for Riders Across Pakistan

Karachi: foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading online delivery platform, has unveiled a wide-ranging series of support programs aimed at safeguarding the health and well-being of its rider community during the intense summer heat. These initiatives focus on heat protection, hydration, and comfort—ensuring riders remain safe and energized throughout the hottest months.

Summer Kits Distributed Nationwide

To address the challenges of extreme temperatures, foodpanda has distributed specially curated Summer Kits to delivery riders across the country. The kits include:

  • Reflective bags
  • Neck covers
  • Wet towels
  • Water bottles
  • Sunglasses
  • Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) by Osmolar ATCO & SOIS
  • Sunscreen and Saniderm by Uniferoz

Among these, caps and sunglasses emerged as rider favorites, offering immediate relief and sun protection during long hours on the road.

Sweet Relief: Ice Cream Day and Movie Experiences

Going beyond practical support, foodpanda collaborated with pandamart and Walls to celebrate Ice Cream Day, treating riders to refreshing ice cream—providing both relief and appreciation. To help riders unwind, Movie Days were also organized in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, giving riders a well-deserved break from their daily routines in a relaxed, air-conditioned environment.

Rider Hubs Equipped with Cooling Amenities

All foodpanda hubs, resting stations, and pandamarts have been stocked with essential amenities like cold water, juices, and water coolers offering chilled drinks. Routine checks at vendor rest stations ensure the availability of basic necessities, reinforcing the company’s focus on rider comfort and accessibility.
