“If a young player can replace me in white-ball cricket, he should be selected immediately,” Fakhar said.
He added that players must consistently prove themselves because domestic cricket and international cricket demand different standards.
Furthermore, he called for regular development camps to help young players improve.
He also said outstanding performances in one or two PSL matches alone should not be enough to establish a player’s international credentials.

Commenting on the batting order, Fakhar said discussions have taken place with the team management.
