ESUP Annual Dinner Celebrates Cultural Exchange and Oracy in Karachi

Karachi: The English Speaking Union of Pakistan (ESUP) hosted its Annual Dinner on July 19, 2025, gathering diplomats, life members, and government officials for an evening dedicated to cultural and intellectual exchange.

The event was led by ESUP Patron-in-Chief Mr. Aziz Memon and President Mr. Pervez Madraswala. Sindh Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro attended as the Chief Guest and was honored with a commemorative shield by ESUP in recognition of his consistent support for educational and cultural initiatives.

The evening served as a vibrant networking platform and reaffirmed ESUP’s ongoing commitment to promoting public speaking, cross-cultural understanding, and oracy skills among youth and professionals.

A non-profit organization, ESUP is known for fostering global connections through the English language. It has played a vital role in creating platforms for meaningful dialogue, including the International Public Speaking Competition (IPSC) and poetry recitation contests.

The event concluded with a strong pledge from ESUP leadership to continue empowering young voices, encouraging respectful debate, and advancing global harmony through the spoken word.
