Esports Nations Cup: Pakistan Qualifies for Dota 2 Main Event After Defeating India

KARACHI: Pakistan has qualified for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 Dota 2 Main Event after defeating India 2-1 in the South and East Asia regional qualifiers.

The victory secured Pakistan the second and final qualifying spot for the tournament, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 8, 2026.

Pakistan delivered an impressive performance throughout the qualifiers and sealed its place at the global event with a crucial lower-bracket victory over regional rival India.

The national squad featured Yawar, Ri, Mr.DeviL, Ahsan, Sanity and coach Tultras, who guided the team during the qualifying campaign.

According to the final standings of the Esports Nations Cup 2026 Dota 2 South and East Asia Qualifier, Mongolia finished first, Pakistan claimed second place, India ended in third, and Bangladesh finished fourth.

Pakistan’s qualification marks another milestone for the country’s rapidly growing esports sector. The team will now compete against some of the world’s leading Dota 2 sides when the Esports Nations Cup begins in Riyadh later this year.
