England produced a record-breaking performance in the third ODI against South Africa, securing a massive 342-run victory and clinching the three-match series 2-1.

Batting first, England posted a mammoth 414 for 5, led by Jacob Bethell’s 110, Joe Root’s 100, opener Jamie Smith’s 62, and Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 62. South African bowlers struggled, with Corbin Bosch and Keshav Maharaj taking two wickets each.

In reply, South Africa crumbled under pressure and were dismissed for just 72 runs. The top order failed miserably, with Bosch (20) and Maharaj (17) being the only notable scorers. Jofra Archer starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Adil Rashid (3) and Brydon Carse (2) contributed to the demolition.

This emphatic win highlighted England’s batting depth and bowling firepower, marking one of the heaviest defeats for South Africa in ODI history.
