Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) takes center stage as Destination Partner at the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, showcasing the city’s continued growth in tourism and hospitality. This year’s participation comes amid Dubai’s record-breaking tourism performance, driven by visionary leadership and aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.

Dubai welcomed 5.31 million international visitors from January to March 2025, marking a 3% year-on-year increase compared to the same period in 2024. This continued growth follows a stellar performance in 2023 and 2024, positioning Dubai to break new records in global tourism. His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), attributed the success to strategic efforts and partnerships, enhancing the city’s status as a top global tourism destination.

ATM, held from April 28 to May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is focused on the theme ‘Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity’. DET’s stand will feature over 125 partners, including key government entities, hotels, and tour operators. The event will also highlight Dubai’s Hosted Buyers Programme, connecting international travel professionals with the city’s vibrant tourism offerings.

Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, DET continues to strengthen its global connections with industry leaders such as Amadeus, Premier Inn Middle East, and Hyatt Hotels. The city’s hospitality sector also shows strong metrics, with increased Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) contributing to Dubai’s position as a top destination for global tourists.

DET also emphasizes sustainability, with the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) initiative recognizing 153 hotels for compliance with sustainability standards. Through strategic partnerships, interactive experiences, and global marketing campaigns, Dubai remains committed to enhancing its tourism offerings and driving economic growth.
