Karachi: A delegation from the British High Commission, led by Head of Development Ms. Jo Moir, met with Sindh’s Minister for Energy, Development, and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, at Ali House in Karachi to discuss investment opportunities and areas of mutual interest.
Sindh Offers Profitable Investment Prospects
Minister Nasir Hussain Shah briefed the delegation about the lucrative prospects in Sindh’s development, agriculture, energy, and other key sectors. He emphasized that Sindh is rich in resources and is rapidly emerging as an attractive destination for both domestic and international investors.
He credited the investment-friendly environment to the progressive vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the proactive policies of the Sindh Government. He further stated that local and foreign investors are already investing in the province with full confidence, thanks to the security, incentives, and support extended by the government.
UK Delegation Praises Sindh’s Investor-Friendly Approach
The British delegation commended the Sindh Government’s efforts in promoting economic growth and ensuring investor confidence. They noted that secure and profitable investment avenues are key for investors, and the environment in Sindh meets those expectations.
The delegation acknowledged the work of the Sindh Department of Energy, Development, and Planning in fostering sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the people of the province.
Sindh Ready to Facilitate British Investors
Nasir Hussain Shah assured the delegation that if British investors show interest in sectors like development, agriculture, or energy, the Sindh Government will offer full cooperation and comprehensive support.
Diplomatic Engagement and Cultural Exchange
The visiting team included the Senior Political Advisor to the program and Mr. Noam Rosenbaum, Second Secretary at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi. To mark the occasion, Minister Nasir Shah presented traditional Sindhi gifts to the guests, highlighting the province’s rich cultural heritage.
