ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has described the impending signing of the Islamabad agreement as a historic development, saying it comes at a time when global attention is strongly focused on Pakistan.
In a statement, he said that ongoing unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is not only harming the Kashmiri cause but is also negatively affecting Pakistan’s international image.
Bilawal Bhutto warned that the situation is providing unnecessary space for hostile elements to exploit the unrest for their own agendas. He also referred to what he described as an India-Israel nexus benefiting from the prevailing circumstances.
The PPP chairman stressed the need for stability and responsible political conduct, particularly at a time when Pakistan is under global scrutiny.
