The discussions focused on expanding and diversifying trade between the two nations.

Discussions on Trade Modalities and Agricultural Products

The meeting addressed various trade modalities, including Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) frameworks. Shipment options like Cost, Insurance, and Freight (CIF), CIF-Liner Out (CIF-LO), and Free on Board (FOB) were also reviewed.

Key agricultural products discussed included rice (white and parboiled), along with onions, sugar, potatoes, dates, jute and jute products, tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, and sesame. Discussions centered on ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and variety to boost trade between the two countries.
