A delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has arrived in Karachi to introduce Pakistani dates to the world. The delegation met with The Consul-General of the UAE in Karachi H.E. Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, discussed ways to increase agricultural production and industrial output in Pakistan.
Bakheet Al-Rumaidhi emphasized the importance of UAE’s role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy and promoting date production. The delegation aims to showcase Pakistani dates globally, inviting countries worldwide to participate.
They are also interested in exhibiting dates at the Karachi Expo Center. Pakistan ranks fifth in global date production but exports only three percent of its yield.
Bakheet Al-Rumaidhi stressed the need to increase Pakistan’s exports to boost its economy, highlighting the exceptional quality of Pakistani dates that deserve global recognition
