IU Singer Postpones Album Release and Cancels Concert Due to Health Issues
The singer unveiled the album cover and tracklist on Instagram. The record features eight songs: Subah Aye Na, Safar Mein Hoon, Ishq, Let’s Have Some Fun, Sunn Sajna, Hoon Ishq Mein, Chaar Yaar, and Sachey Wadey.
The new release is Aslam’s first studio album since Meri Kahani in 2008. That album produced popular tracks such as Tere Bin, Kaun Tha, Kinara, and Meri Kahani.
Earlier, he released Doorie in 2006. The album included hit songs such as Kuch Is Tarah and Maahi Ve. His debut solo album, Jal Pari, arrived in 2004 and featured chart-topping tracks including Aadat, Bheegi Yaadein, and Woh Lamhe. The album established him as one of Pakistan’s leading pop-rock artists.
Since then, Aslam has built a successful career across South Asia. He has recorded several blockbuster film songs in Pakistan and India, including Tera Hone Laga Hoon, Jeena Jeena, Pehli Nazar Mein, Dil Diyan Gallan, Tu Jaane Na, and O Saathi.
In addition, he has appeared on Coke Studio, collaborated with international musicians, and performed at concerts worldwide. Most recently, he teamed up with British-Azerbaijani artist Sami Yusuf for Tu Hi Mera Raazdaan, which was recorded live at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena.
Fans have welcomed the announcement of Subah Aye Na, describing the album as a major milestone in Atif Aslam’s musical career after an 18-year gap between studio releases.
