Karachi: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi made a powerful impression at the “Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025” held in Rwanda, where musicians and directors from the Arts Council Music Academy represented Pakistan with moving performances that resonated with global audiences.

‘The Loudest Whisper’ Receives Widespread Acclaim
Renowned Pakistani artists, including Arman Rahim, Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and Umesh Ladhani, presented a dramatic musical performance titled “The Loudest Whisper.” The act shed light on the global silence surrounding the massacre of innocent people in conflict-hit regions such as Pakistan, Kashmir, and Rwanda. The performance highlighted the world’s troubling indifference to such human suffering and earned strong praise at the international festival.

Music as a Universal Language for Peace
Curated by the Arts Council’s cultural troupe, the presentation was lauded for its emotional intensity and global relevance. Using music as a bridge across cultures, the performance advocated for peace, human dignity, and cultural harmony.

Festival Hosted Artists from Across the Globe
The Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025 brought together artists from over a dozen countries, including the USA, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, France, the Netherlands, DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, Nepal, and Zimbabwe.

Pakistan’s Cultural Diplomacy Through Arts
Pakistan was represented by Music Academy Director and acclaimed vocalist Arman Rahim, singer Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Ali Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and Deputy Director of Academies Umesh Ladhani.
