Arham Bin Farukh wins Boys U-19, Sarah Danish claims Girls U-19 title

Karachi: At the Karachi Table Tennis Championship, Arham Bin Farukh won the Boys Under-19 title, while Sarah Danish secured the Girls Under-19 championship. In the Veterans Men’s Singles category, Zafar Khan emerged victorious. The Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles events have now reached their final stage. The championship, organized by Ali Shan Table Tennis Club, is being held at the Sindh Sports Board Complex in Nazimabad.

In the Boys U-19 final, Arham Bin Farukh defeated Muhammad Abbas in a thrilling 5-set match, winning 3–2. The set scores were 5–11, 6–11, 11–4, 11–5, and 11–8. In the Girls U-19 final, Sarah Danish overcame Anabia Siddiqui in another exciting contest, also winning 3–2. The scores were 10–12, 11–7, 11–8, 5–11, and 11–3.

In the Veterans Singles final, Zafar Khan defeated Faisal Saqib 3–1, with scores of 11–5, 11–6, 10–12, and 11–3. In the Mixed Doubles semifinals, the pair of Hareem Anwar and Salman Raza beat Hoor Fawad and Arham Bin Farukh 3–2 to reach the final. In the other semifinal, Fatima and Muhammad Abbas defeated Hoor Yaseen and Aahil Virani 3–1 to secure their place in the final.

In the Men’s Doubles category, Arham Bin Farakh and Hussain Virani defeated Muhammad Abbas and Raza in the first semifinal. In the second semifinal, Muhammad Kaif and Shah Mir overcame Aahil and Muhammad Saim to qualify for the final.
