Karachi: The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) in Karachi recently hosted a delegation from Zhong Xing Telecom Pakistan (Pvt) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement, facilitated by AIT’s Department of Institute Industry Liaisons (DIIL) and the Guidance Center, aims to enhance opportunities for AIT graduates.
Under the MoU, Zhong Xing Telecom Pakistan will offer internships and scholarships to graduates from AIT’s Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and CIT departments. Additionally, the company will provide job offers upon the successful completion of these internships. This collaboration is set to enrich the technical skills and career prospects of AIT students.
Hafiz Imran, GM South of Zhong Xing Telecom Pakistan, highlighted the benefits of the partnership: “Our collaboration will benefit not only the students but also the broader technical landscape of Pakistan.” He commended AIT for showcasing the advanced technical education of its students.
AIT Principal Shahid Jameel expressed enthusiasm about the new alliance: “This MoU marks the beginning of a new era of educational and technical cooperation. It reflects our joint commitment to advancing technical education and fostering innovation, which will lead to significant regional development. AIT is excited to promote innovation and excellence in partnership with Zhong Xing Telecom.”
