Khalil-ur-Rehman Allahwala, chief executive officer of Aman Tower and Aman Vista, hosted a dinner in honour of Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala in collaboration with a member of the Managing Committee of the Jamiat Punjabi Saudagaran-e-Delhi (JPSD).
The gathering brought together prominent business leaders, community representatives and public figures to recognise Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala’s philanthropic contributions. The event was reported by Muhammad Rizwan Sami.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Allahwala, along with Sultan A. Shaikh, Saleem Farooqui, Fahad Ilyas Nainitalwala and Adeel Nasir Ilyas, welcomed the guests.
The chief guest was Brigadier Yaqoob Awan, Sector Commander ISPR Sindh. Other prominent attendees included Hanif Gohar, chairman of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD); Aslam Pakhali, senior vice president of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI); Nasir Shaikh, vice president of KATI; former KCCI president Younus Bashir; former KATI presidents Masood Naqvi and Zahid Saeed; and Khalid Tawab, former president of the Federation.
The programme opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Abdullah Mansoor, followed by the national anthem. Organisers also presented a video outlining Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala’s philanthropic work.

Addressing the gathering, Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala reflected on his life and work, emphasising humility, teamwork and faith.

He said setting aside personal ego while working could bring Allah’s help and stressed that he had not achieved his goals alone. Instead, he credited a committed team for supporting efforts to address people’s problems.
He also expressed confidence that the inclusion of Zahid Saeed, Masood Naqvi and Shamim Firpo in the team would strengthen its work further.
Allahwala dedicated his Global Image Award – Middle East to his community, acknowledging the role of collective effort in achieving recognition.
Shields Presented to Community Members
JPSD President Siraj and Secretary General Masood Naqvi presented commemorative shields to Shamim Firpo, Saleem Farooqui, Sultan A. Shaikh, Adeel Ilyas (Presswala) and Fahad Ilyas Nainitalwala.
On behalf of Azm-e-Aalishan, shields were also presented to Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala and Managing Committee member Rizwan Abdul Sami.
Other recipients included Nasir Shaikh, vice president of KATI; Dur-e-Shahwar; and Babar Hussain Abbas. Zahid Saeed, Shamim Firpo and Ali Suryana presented the awards.
A video message from Zubair Motiwala, chairman of the BMG Group and former KCCI president, was also played for the audience.
Donations Announced at the Event
In a show of support for community initiatives, JPSD President Siraj and members Zahid Saeed and Masood Naqvi each announced a donation of Rs1 million. Several other members also pledged contributions.
Brigadier Yaqoob Awan and ABAD Chairman Hanif Gohar presented shields and flower bouquets to Atiq-ur-Rehman Allahwala in recognition of the occasion.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Allahwala thanked the guests for attending and supporting the gathering. The event concluded with dinner for the participants.
